War in the North - First Thoughts
Well, I finally got it, and now the video settings actually work. Before, the game only ran on lowest settings, without shadows or anything.
Even with the full settings, the game still looks quite.. uninspired and dull.
If you are a fan of Tolkien apart from the movies, better don't play it.
In case you can resist screaming out of frustration while playing, try scratching everything from your memory, don't take this game as part of the lore - it just kinda looks like LotR, used some settings and names, but does not feel like it at all.

Normal gamers who are not yet completely addicted would ask why now...
Because I will definitely play it and inform you about the new songs if you want to. Well they are not all completely new but I'd like to know which ones had to go and what kind of alternative Sega gives the player.

War in the North is out - or is it?
Well, at least in the USA.
Warner somehow seemed fine with delaying the Game for another 8 to 24 days, depending on the region. Of course, the UK gets to play it last, why wouldn't they?
Retailers already pressured digital distributioners like Steam to hold back Preorders for certain regions, and let's not mention the rising prices of many games by various publishers for Australia, Warner amongst them.

Type Moon Week: Fate/Extra for PSP available now!
So if you haven't done so already, grab your money, your keys and your PSP and hurry to the store!
Aksys Games, the developers of BlazBlue and GuiltyGear are giving us a treat you might never forget! Fate/Extra Roleplaying Game slash Novel slash dungeon crawler is here!
Missed what that means? Well then let's have a crash course in the matter right now! Since we can't have you stumbling around with not knowing anything!
Basically this states that you will get a PSP game, which is like a book, there is fairly to read, a bit to explore, interact, as well as to fight with. Aksys Games decided to publish the game with japanese dub only and english text, so that you may unterstand it well. They really struggled to translate everything so, that the players can both understand it and relate to it; even though they may not be knowledgeable with the "Nasuverse".
This is the name for the setting of this universe the game and every Type Moon novel to date plays in.
Sadly the mystery novel DDD (Decoration Disorder Disconnection) and Canaan aren't part of it.
