»The Story of Silver Crown«
In 2040 Neurosynchronization has become widespread. It's a technology system which allows humanity to manipulate their senses, so they can access the internet and enter virtual worlds.
(That doesn't sound familiar at all ;) )
Arita Haruyuki or short Haru is a small, rather chubby fellow because of that he is constantly bullied and has nearly no self-esteem left. To escape this cruel reality he logs into the schools virtual network now and then as a player of squash were he always achieves the highest score.
Because of this the Student Council Vice-Pesident Kuroyuki-hime takes notice of him and offers the boy to take part in a nearly unbelievable secret project called "Brain Burst". It is meant to allow a person to make "time" itself appear to stand still by accelerating their brainwaves in the real world.
The catch is... unfortunately there seems to be a limit to how many times a person can do a Brain Burst. This is indicated by Brain Burst Points, one way to get those vital points is to fight another Brain Burst user in a "Virtual Reality Massive Multiplayer Online" Beat 'em up (VRMMO) and of course the objective is to defeat them.
If a User loses all Brain Burst Points he will return to being a "normal human" and the Brain Burst ability will be removes entirely.
Kuroyuki-hime on the other hand wishes to gain levels so that she is able to meet the creator of the Brain Burst System, so that she can learn of it's true purpose.
In Order to do that certain conditions are required, she must defeat five Level 9 players. To her demise those happen to be the leaders from the fractions called "The Six Kings of Pure Colors", the leaders of the most powerful fractions in the Brain Burst World.
Naturally Haru agrees to help her, not only because he ows her a favour but also because he wants to finally overcome his biggest weakness.
Now it's up to you, boy. Are you fit to be the King?
