War in the North: Review

The review is finally done! A few days later than I hoped, but earler than I expected.
A few words before you start reading - it isn't a bad game, and certainly not as horrible as I predicted from trailer one onwards.

Ni No Kuni Wrath of the White Witch - Gameplay Videos -

Today our dear japanese Developer Level-5 granted the world more insight on what there is in Ni No Kuni.
Once more we can only recommend them for their briliant display of bravery for taking on this Ghibli movie as a game. Even the producer said that ...whatever the outcome may be, he loved the idea of making such a fabulous Studio Ghibli animation into a playable game.

A Wishlist for fun, or at least the stuff little Alkaid could think of right now. Also information is included as well, though only partially. But leaving that section empty is unbearably bleak and shallow so filling this place with wishes and a little complaint is in order. Hope you don't mind if you do, just ignore this post and have a nice day! ;)
Also this might not be the real intention for this place but I just can't stand empty space like that even though we go on it every day.

War in the North - First Thoughts

Well, I finally got it, and now the video settings actually work. Before, the game only ran on lowest settings, without shadows or anything.
Even with the full settings, the game still looks quite.. uninspired and dull.

If you are a fan of Tolkien apart from the movies, better don't play it.
In case you can resist screaming out of frustration while playing, try scratching everything from your memory, don't take this game as part of the lore - it just kinda looks like LotR, used some settings and names, but does not feel like it at all.
