Playstation Vita - News

Sony's upcoming PSP successor, the Vita, will offers discounted pricing on games sold digitally versus those bought at retail. So you might get some games up to 20 percent cheaper than at your lokal retailer.

It seems like that our sleek new Sony PSP successor will also bring a few 'displeasing' additions with it.
A NeoGAF User who visited a promotion Vita event in Osaka and also recieved a catalog with different launch titles and accessoires. At the end of the list he found some rather bad news.

Q: PSNアカウントは、PSVita本体1つに対して何個まで設定できますか?
A: 1つです。別のPSNアカウントで使用したい場合は、本体の初期化を行ってください。

Translation:

Q: How many PSN account can be set up on a Vita system?
A: Only 1 account. If you want to to use a different account, you need to format the system to factory settings.

That news is rather bitter for most of the players who loved the PSP and hoped that Sony would gant them their little piece of freedom. Either give up on it or format your complete system every time to play different PSN titles.
Players in Europe might find this especially hard to swallow considering that the PSN stores there are hardly able to keep up with the US or Japan one. More than 70% of all games on there were not realeased in the european PSN because of various reasons.
Also this might mean that the same goes for already bought PSP titles.

For those who want to get their hands on an early preview of the PSV to see hat it can do for themselves just have to go to the PS page right here.

No reason to flip the table right away, since it has not been officially confirmed yet. But we all know that Sony has the right to do this and they probably will. So some of you might want to think over this again.
